"We could say that a sequence is a series of images that have no beginning or end. Therefore, images that have continuity.
When I take a long train journey, I have always enjoyed and liked to observe the landscape that passes by at high speed and changes rapidly, also with a sinuous rhythm. A landscape that we don't know where it started and we surely won't know where and when it will end or, in fact, that will never end and will be infinite. But, if you want, you can retain a fragment, whatever you want; for example, when you take a photograph and you know that this frozen image actually comes from another continuous image without a beginning or end.
"Seqüència continuada" is, therefore, a set of works that together could create one or, from each of them, we could obtain others.
It becomes, at the same time, the repetition of elements and, therefore, a continuity.
They are rhythms, movements, changes; just like the landscape that happens at full speed.
Few colours. The shades of white and grey also represented by other materials such as plaster, fabric and wax.
Just the right, controlled and measured elements to be able to say a lot and be what they are"
